it's almost Valentine's day, so i thought i would do a post relating to that, showing some cute buys for him and her this year at very affordable prices!
I have no idea what i'm doing for Valentine's this year tbh, but seeing as it is my birthday on the 16th, it's more than likely that i will be celebrating it joint with that seeing as everywhere tends to be majorly busy on the 14th. I think i may remember making plans to see a movie with Luke, but i'm not sure.  has anyone seen any good films that i could go and see?

i actually LOVE this. i want it so bad! This charm costs £30, but of course, you need a pandora bracelet in the first place, so the traditional silver bracelet is around £60, but they're so worth it cos then you always have something to buy them! Great, great gifts and also something to really treasure.

Hey guys. 

first off, i'd just like to let you all know that the idea i had of making my own youtube channel and creating a 'vlog' still remains an idea-- i DID attempt it.. 3 times. and then i completely lost all hope when each time, something went majorly wrong. hmph, so maybe a job with computers is also out of the question for the rest of my life, too?

heyho- anyway, this week I took a trip to London with my mum, sister and younger cousin. Primarily, we decided to go because my cousin had never been and had really wanted to see Big Ben, but it turned out that we all could do with a break away from here anyway-- i hate having the same routine every single day with not even as much as a spark of spontaneity to look forward to. kinda sucks. anyway, it was a lovely weekend- plenty of shopping and sightseeing- and as a typical tourist, i took hundreds of photographs (which you can find on my facebook page- www.facebook.com/jessicastarbuck.x) most of which take place in the infamous M&M World (yum!) and the Disney Shop. i got a few cute buys too-- which i will show at the bottom of this post. 

--p.s. i need you all to keep an eye out for  job advertisements for me- i am in dire need of a new job! not only do i hate my current job, but the money isn't even good- so it's not even like i can overlook it. how can they 'not afford' to pay people, meaning that they can't give more hours out, but i go on holiday and come back and they have taken on like 4 people and gave others more hours, and then they are taking on again in 3 weeks? so, so selfish.

i'm just gonna take this time to say happy new year! hope all is well and that everyone had a lovely Christmas and Newyear.
As you've probably noticed, this year's resolution has been to start up this blog again --i took a look at last year's appalling entries (a whole THREE entries- im ashamed!). So yeah, this year is the return of the blog! Also, this year, I am determined to start my very own vlog- that's video-blog for all you technophobes. I'm not really sure why i'm so determined about this idea, but i'm very excited to begin this! I set up a new Youtube account today -OrdinaryStarbuck- where i intend on putting these vlogs, but i now find myself stuck for an imaginative way to produce an introductory piece, i mean it has to be interesting or i'll end up with no subscribers! so yeah, any ideas would be appreciated- as would any tips on vlogging and editing the actual footage, thanks. 

anywho- i'll tell you a little about my christmas, shall i?
well it was definitely a christmas to remember, that's for sure! The build-up to christmas was, as always, a lot more prolonged and too 'hyped up' for my liking, but seeing as it's my favourite holiday, you are all forgiven! But yeah, i just get annoyed when i see Christmas decorations being put up at like the end of October, i mean really is there any need? -anyway, we had my boyfriend over for christmas so that he was here for me to receive my presents with me -(yes, he was totally in on the surprise!) so when i woke up, very excitedly may i add, at 5.30, it was my top priority that he was up with all the family to celebrate this day with us! i won't bore you with every single detail of the morning, or of the list of gifts that i received, so i'll just mention a few of my favourites-- i got a lovely Pauls Boutique bag, a bag full of Benefit makeup, some mac makeup, lipsy goods, an ipod dock and quite a few perfumes. oh, and a car. yes, a CAR. A beeeeautiful little Citroen C3 with a huge pink bow on the bonnet. oh, words can't even describe how excited, happy and totally surprised i was! i completely love her-- her name being Bubble. She's all kitted out with Hello Kitty accessories, and a little 'Powered by fairy dust' sticker on the back! aw, such a cutie. hope you all got what you wanted too!

arg, i can't even begin to say how boring my current state of life is! ugh, how can i possibly be this bored of life already, only having experienced 18 years of it? i'm young, i'm carefree and i have a whole life ahead of me, so why can i not find anything to do with myself these days? this being said, i have, however, found a new career prospect that i'm sure i could get in to- floristry. haha, as silly as it sounds (and yes, i am aware of how silly it sounds), i really am looking into it. I have so far found a floristry college course in Hucknall, and i am now looking to see if you can go on to doing it at university. i really hope you can! i remember me and my bestfriend absolutely ripping  this girl apart at school when she told everyone that she wanted to be a florist, and now look at me- wanting to jump on her bandwagon. oops. 
anywho, this was just a short post to let you know that you heard it hear first! haha.

me & my boyfriend looking slightly intoxicated whilst on a recent night out to a friends' birthday party. 

Hey girls &guys. i'm so sorry for the lack of communication between my fingers, the keyboard and yola.com in the last 9 months- woah, has it really been that long?! #i now can tell you that i'm back, and i'm back for good!
ok, so where do i even start? January was so long ago, and i can certainly assure you that alot has happened since then. If you haven't guessed already, i am now in a relationship, and may i just add -it's the best feeling in the world. i'm sure you all remember how i was this time last year when my ex boyfriend broke up with me out of the blue? well meet Luke. he's made me completely forget about he who must not be named, making me feel things that i thought i would never feel again. i know, it's only been 6 months, but a lot can happen in 6 months- it's plenty of time to realise how in love you are, i can definitely say that i would do anything for him. mmmm, love. also, the job at Tesco is still on- and on and on. i'm telling you now, don't ever get a job on a checkout of a busy supermarket. especially if you're one for going out and getting stupidly drunken and feeling crappy in the morning right before work---  believe me, there is nowhere to hide, and you have to be constantly 'happy'-urgh. my smile is literally tattoo'd on my face from all the overtime that i have been doing in the last month, and god i cannot wait for next payday! I guess there are a few up sides of working at Tesco --i mean, that's where i met Lukas, and the shifts we do together just give me an excuse to spend even more time with him. i've also made a lot of new friends working there-- not the kind of friends that you tell all of your secrets to, have pyjama parties with etc, but friends who know how to have a bloody good time! 
Did i also tell you that i can drive now? mmhm, i passed my test on June 1st, making me a PINK driving license holder. woooooop. quick secret- i have 3 points on my license already. but shh. driving is amazing- it's been 5 months and i can't even imagine being without the privilege of it. i have so much freedom and it saves a lot of faffing about on buses too! the only downside of it is the lack of exercise i'm getting. boooo. 
i can't say that much else has really happened- everything is kinda boring. mm, i went to Lanzarote in June/July for the summer holidays with the close family- it was absolutely lovely; so hot, nice scenery, and cheap to drink! ar, it was a lovely two weeks. 
other than those things, i've been to town a good few times. always exciting, funny and usually dramatic.. hahaha. enough said. 

anyway, i'm gonna go get ready now-- got a date with my mumma and sister tonight- drinks are on her. ;)

aw, don't i look happy? ;) hmph, i love being 18! there's so much freedom involved! & going to town has become a regular occurance- it's no wonder i have no money all've the time! :/ sadtimes.
anyway, to spend this wonderful birthday, me and the fammm took a trip to Gran Canariaaa! :D it was utterly amazing!



i can't even tell you how utterly amazing it was, but im sure you can guess! :) n'aw. i loved it! <3

i've booked my driving test!! :) eeek. excited much? i sharnt say the date, incase i fail- i don't want to embarrass myself! but i will let you know if i do pass!

I've gotta say, Christmas 2010 was NOT how i had pictured it to be all year. I was so sure that I'd still be with my boyfriend, be happy, go to parties, drink-a lot. Instead, I was lonely, single and very, very poorly with chronic toothache. Get this-- I ended up having root canal treatment ON CHRISTMAS DAY! ouch, right? I couldn't even finish my Christmas dinner- the dinner that I wait 365 days for each year. Truly awful. </3 
Also, I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I was pretty disappointed in Santa. :( he brought my sister a laptop, and i mainly got things for my car, makeup and smellies. okayokay, so I had my bedroom decorated a few months back, but really? I asked for one CD and I didn't get that. I asked for tickets to see The Script and didn't get those. And i know that it's not about the presents, it's about family, and love, but when my sister has a laptop to play with, my dad an ipod and my mum a phone, and i'm sat there with my 'Harrods Make Your Own Makeup Bag', i can't help but see the favouritism from Santa. 

 I've started revising! it's a month until my two exams, so i've figured that i need to get my arse into gear.. I mean, i'm never gonna get into uni if i don't put in the effort really, am i? 

psht. New Year. It's gonna be a goddamnn messy one! Miss Katy Lamin is the host. and i have the choice of two lovely lads to pull.. I reckon it's gonna be a spontaneous drunken choice. aaah, im so excited! :D
